Fields of Application – Dentistry
During dental treatments, the dentist uses turbines, contra-angle instruments, scalers, whiteners and so on, generating a spray containing micro-organisms coming from the patient’s mouth.
This spray deposits on operators (dentist and other personnel) and on patients, contaminating their coats, clothes and shoes. It can even remain suspended in the air for several hours. When the operators take off their masks they breathe this spray!
In addition, it deposits on all the equipment and the exposed surfaces, even the most hidden, where it can generate biological pollution and the proliferation of microbe colonies. The potential presence of pathogenic micro-organisms carried by the spray increases the risk of cross-infections both between operator and patient and between operators.
Disinfectant sprays and wipes used conventionally may not be effective since very often the required application times are not respected due to the constant race against time. Furthermore, it is practically impossible to reach inside cracks and gaps which are actually very important to sanitise, since especially here, micro-organisms find the ideal habitat for expansion and contaminating the environment and thus infecting human beings.
Sani System is the ideal solution to deal with microbiological contamination. It reduces the risk of cross-infections by decreasing the microbial load to the lowest possible safety levels!
Sani System is a device for sanitising environments with a high risk of biological contamination. It produces high temperature (180°C) over-heated dry saturated steam in combination with the sanitising solution HPMed (a hydroalcoholic solution containing sodium metasilicate and sodium carbonate). The system reduces the bacterial, fungal and viral load of the surfaces and fabrics to which it is applied within only a few seconds.
